Well I now have my own website Learning Center and a couple of blogs A Shorter Dresser and
Make Money along with several others. Now what?
I sure would want others to find me, recognize me on site and trust me enough to join any programs or businesses I will be recommending.How do I do that?
The first thing is get a friend to take some pictures of you indoors,outdoors and around the home. Stand against a banister or on a plain wall. Use the zoom on the camera and take several shots. Select the pose that is the best closeup of you without showing any need for a touch-up. By all means, wear a colored shirt that becomes you.
Avoid black and white because no one will remember you! Then send one or two to your email. From there open the picture,choose "save image as" and it will go to your picture area that came with your computer.
Try to set your camera for the smallest setting for a picture if you are given a choice. You want a Thumbnail picture if possible. If it is too large use Shrink Pictures . I set it at 75 % smaller and ask for the clearest one. If that one is still too big, re-size the smaller one again. I added "smaller,then smallest to each picture title so I knew which one was the tiny one.
Next use the same user I.D. everywhere you go. It is like your drivers licence on the internet. I started with gramfox777, then Foxybird, Foxybird123 I should have kept just one. Now to get them all to recognize me, I must post them in a paragraph like this one.
Join Myspace, Facebook, and Twitter. 96 % of the businesses on-line allow your posts to be seen on these 3 Social Communities.I go there once a month to make an appearance. As people want to connect to you, accept them. This will give you 3 places to post free ads.
Business Communities are next. What is the difference between a Social Community and a Business Community? Business Communities pay you either by point per click, getting referrals ( you advertise your link) or just being active. I like to save posts in my notebook that explain how the Business Community works. These communities should be used as a vehicle to get referrals to join your business or programs.
Which Business Community is the best one? My favorite one is the new Ismmagic . Why this one? The owner Russ Chapman and his staff are one-line 24/7. Customer service is a wonderful thing. Just ask if you need help.
There are four membership levels at ismmagic Free of course, $ 5 a month (you get to post live links and display one banner ad for your programs). Then $10 and $20 memberships giving you a lot more perks.
Business communities are no good if you do not connect to friends on them. Otherwise you cannot comment on anyone's post. But Business Communities are a great place to hang out with other Network Marketers and pick their brains!
Another Business Community I would recommend is Swom What do they have to offer? Upgraded members can ask, answer and comment on business questions at the University. You can read down all the past questions and learn a lot. Do not depend on earning enough points to get your upgrade of $20 for free without having just one Gold referral . I just figure on paying over half the monthly fee . It is a great tax deduction. It is advertising.
How do you pick a business? They must have a consumable product or offer a great service that I personally use myself. I want great customer service too. A phone number that someone answers 24/7 does it for me.
Just my opinion,but I do not want people to think I will join anything just to make money. I do not join cyclers.They have no product or service. You only get paid for bringing in new people. Each time you cycle, you are asked to buy more positions. If you join them the first month or two,you will make money. It will shut down ( rename itself) when the numbers start to go down.
I use Safe-lists and Traffic Exchanges as well as my Business and Social Communities to advertise my businesses.
